Maxim is an unbelievably talented Ukrainian composer and oboist. He needed an online portfolio to showcase his multidimensional body of work, and fresh photos to share with the press, so I did both. 

Maxim gave me total freedom with one request: the result needed to feel true to him, not be too solemn or dull. He didn’t want his face to be the fist thing people would see, so I came up with cables, and it turned out to be quite symbolic for Max.

Maxim was recently commisioned to create an opera by the Met.
